605’s collaboration with Theatre Replacement, now titled The Sensationalists, premiered at the Cultch from May 12-16, 2015.

This new experimental dance creation explores concepts surrounding various sensory phenomena. The Cultch’s Historic Theatre is transformed to play with proximity and interactivity in an immersive performance experience where the audience is mobile and placed inside of the action. Merging 605 Collective’s high-powered physicality and Theatre Replacement’s unique theatre-making methodologies, The Sensationalists alters the audience/performer relationship, resulting in a compelling, immediate and unexpected performance.
